Day Four
Sang alhim for there to be
bright lights up in the skies
to separate the day from night, to mark the hours, days, and years.
To brightly light the skies
and shine upon the earth.
And so it came to be.
As one, all gods made
two great lights
the greater one to flow the tides the lesser one to
flow at night and
guide the other stars.
All gods as one,
fixed those great lights
up in the skies to shine on earth and have their way
in day and night
and to divide the
light from dark.
Looked all the gods
upon all this as good.
Diversity was unity
on the day of four. |
